FW23: Blush Selects

Considering it’s mid-December, I think it’s about time to get into my Fall/Winter 2023 blush selections, eh?

To be fair, it’s still *~ legally ~* Fall for another week, so I’m slipping in right on time.

This go-around, I did a combo of cream and powder blushes in one post to keep it nice and condensed. After all, we’re in the midst of the holiday season chaos — you don’t need more to do!

Scroll down to get more info on each of these beauties:

Stila Cosmetics Convertible Color in Magnolia

I feel like people have forgotten about one of the OG cream blushes on the market. Stila’s convertible colors are still top notch and this shade is the perfect cool-toned shade for these colder months. It’s also super easy to blend and you can put it on your lips too!

$25

Patrick Ta Blush Duo in Oh She's Different

This Patrick Ta Duo is a wintery plum shade that reminds me of warm mulled wine. You can choose either the cream or the powder or just GO 4 IT and use both! The formulas in these duos are so luxe and I can’t recommend them enough.

$36

Tower 28 BeachPlease Cream Blush in Party Hour

I know, this looks more like a spring color, but (on me at least) it gives me the purrrfect cool tone flush. Almost like I’ve just gotten back from walking through some mountain air and not like I sit all day in front of my computer.

$20

Rose Inc Refillable Cheek & Lip Color in Azalea

This gorgeous berry shade packs a PUNCH, You do not need a lot of this if you’re pale like me. It’s truly a great rosy color that reminds me of holiday decorations. The formula is a bit thick and tacky, but it dries down and stays all day!

$32

Colourpop Super Shock Blush Satin in Cheerio

Colourpop is known for their Super Shock eyeshadows, but let’s not sleep on their blush in the same formula. It’s such a unique texture, like a cream-to-powder situation, and this shade is a deep cranberry. Bonus? It’s on sale for $4.50 right now!

Em Cosmetics So Soft Blush in Venetian Rose

Probably the most neutral-cool in my selects, this Em Cosmetics blush stick is — you guessed it — so soft! It applies and blends like an actual cloud dream.

$30

Do you have any favorite blushes for the cooler temps? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time, stay warm and go find a cat to snuggle. (I recommend Meow Parlour if you’re in NYC or NEKO if you’re in Seattle!)
